Geraldton Respite Centre offers dedicated respite care accommodation within Beachlands Village.
Surrounded by landscaped gardens, the Respite Centre is located close to the heart of Geraldton, with easy access to nearby medical facilities, public transport links and beautiful beaches.
Over Night Respite Care
Respite care, also known as ‘short-term care’, is a form of support for you and your carer. It gives your carer the opportunity to attend to everyday activities, go on holidays or just have a rest while ensuring your needs are supported by our dedicated care staff.
Respite care may be for a few hours or days or for longer periods, depending on your needs, or the needs of the person who cares for you.
Community Day Centre
This service operates 2 days per week on Tuesday and Thursday and runs form 10.00am to 3.00pm. If you require assistance with transport we have a community bus and staff to transport you to and from the centre-based day centre .
Enjoy a break close to the sea
Geraldton Respite Centre is welcoming and relaxed, offering comfortable home-style accommodation on a short-term basis for carers in need of a break and care recipients.
Supported by our dedicated care staff, the Respite Centre is ideally suited for respite care stays. This community service is funded by the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP).
You do not need to have an ACAT assessment to access accommodation at the Respite Centre, however you will need to obtain an RAS referral by calling My Aged Care on 1800 200 422.
Everyone will feel at home in the peaceful location, close to the sea and everything that Geraldton has to offer.
